The TF100-EC fan features an electronically commutated (EC) motor that provides superior ventilation and efficient performance. Toggle-switch positioning determines the maximum desired airflow rate. The whisper-quiet operation of a TF100-EC fan ranges from 0.3 to 1.0 sones. This versatile exhaust fan can be configured to operate continuously at a low airflow rate to improve indoor air quality (IAQ). When the fan’s humidity sensor detects a change in environmental conditions, the fan will boost automatically to a maximum desired airflow.

HVI, also known as the Home Ventilating Institute, recommends ventilation rates based on 8 air changes per hour. For most bathrooms, this works out to 1 cfm per square foot of area with a minimum of 50 cfm.
